Salary: £9.02 per hour

Hours: 20 hours per week

We are looking for a Housekeeper to work at Swan House in Winslow, which is a modern purpose-built registered care home with specially designed accommodation for up to 32 older people. Swan House provides person centered care and support to older people and to those living with dementia.

We are looking for our Housekeeper to have:

  • Previous Housekeeper experience desirable, but not essential

  • Kindhearted and a great team player.

  • An awareness and understanding of high-quality care.

  • Good communication skills, patience and flexibility.

  • Full working rights and be flexible with working hours as you will be expected to work shifts

Our Housekeeper will carry out the following duties:

  • To assist in the provision of cleaning and laundry services at the service in order

  • To ensure a safe, clean and comfortable environment for people that we support.

  • To clean in and around the service including communal areas and resident’s rooms.

  • To assist in the provision of other domestic and laundry services.

  • To use, store and service all machinery, appliances and equipment as instructed by the Manager.

  • To use and store all cleaning materials and domestic supplies in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

  • To ensure that the cleaning and domestic services are responsive to the needs of the resident’s and do not infringe upon privacy of the individual.

  • To ensure that sufficient supplies are ordered and available for use and a stock list is maintained and monitored.
